So I just hope it's not going to happen to the controller I have coming also, since it happened to other people on the same day to the same controller with the same problems. But i see other posts from yesterday also, well christmas, that people have the same issue with the buttons and none of them working. I spent another 70 bucks on a new controller. Then i could see the remote, but none of the buttons work, the trigger button doesnt work so you cant even select anything, no buttons work, but its seeing the controller, but you cant even press the oculus button to get out of a game or anything, then about 2 minutes later, the controller cant be found again. The next morning we tried new batteries, still nothing, no light, then after about an hour of spinning the battery around, trying to impair and pair like oculus says, all that stuff, the light came back on, and I paired it. We changed those batteries right away, but we noticed that battery leaked battery acid all on the inside, so se cleaned it our as best we could, left it alone over night. We put those batteries in that came with the oculus, after an hour or so, the remote wasnt being found by the headset, no led, nothing. It takes longer for you guys to respond than it does for your product to stop working. How can you sell something that stops working on the first day, and not get back to us for 2 days with an answer. I have gone through the whole file in the Editor. I think it could possibly be to do with the fact that the translation TXLF Editor progress bar is showing 99 (17 words left). I have done a Transcheck and have found no tag errors. Any other company would be like, jesus all these people are having the same problem, maybe send out some type of mass email to your users saying you're aware of the right controller not working issue and are going to fix it and make it right for us paying customers. Hi all, I am having difficulty creating the final translated file of an idml file using clean up. Cuz I have no oculus and no answers from oculus. Especially the speed in which they're handling this issue, nothing seems to be getting done about it on my end, so the whole time I'm waiting around I'm just feeling like i wasted 570 bucks. Well, this until was manufactured in august 2019, this problem is still happening to brand new units? This is really troubling me. So now what do I do? Wait for god knows how long for my new controller to come? We deserve an explanation to what's going on, oculus MUST know because you can google this exact issue for a year ago and they said they were aware and working on an update to fix it. Lol, so I cant even look forward to any type of play for 2 days at least. Now what do I do, I know oculus will just tell me to request a support ticket, and all that, but all that did was send me an automated email saying they wont even get back to me for about 2 days. Lots of people reporting day one right controller stopped working. So now I went and spent ANOTHER 70 bucks for 1 right controller, that will probably do the same thing when it gets here since it seems to be happening to a shit ton of people. Now we cant even use it without the right controller. I JUST got this for my wife for christmas, and 1 hour into playing it, it stops working. We looked online and what a surprise, LOTS of people are having problems with their right controllers also. Like oculus would tell us, we took out the batteries that they sent with it, let them sit out for 5 minutes, put them back in, unpaired, paird, nothing.
